Definitions

The following defined terms are used throughout these Terms of Service. Where the context requires, the singular includes the plural and vice versa. These Terms were last updated on 20 July 2026.

Term Definition

“Company” / “We” / “Us” KEUN Marketing B.V., a private limited company (besloten vennootschap) incorporated under the laws of Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (Kamer van Koophandel) under number 98931644, VAT identification number NL868708598B01, with registered address at Lintelerweg 60, 7556 PD Hengelo, Netherlands, operating the Decotize brand and website.

“Website” The online store operated at decotize.com and all associated subdomains, pages, features, and services accessible through that domain.

“User” / “Customer” / “You” Any individual or entity accessing the Website or placing an order, whether registered or browsing as a guest. Where you are a consumer (an individual purchasing for personal use) in a jurisdiction with applicable consumer protection law, those protections apply to your relationship with us.

“Order” A purchase transaction submitted by you through the Website, constituting an offer to enter into a contract of sale with us for one or more Products at the prices and on the terms displayed at checkout.

“Business Day” Any calendar day that is not a Saturday, Sunday, or a federally recognised public holiday in the United States, as applicable to the relevant activity (order processing, shipping, or customer service response times).

Use of Website

By accessing decotize.com, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or at least 13 years of age with the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian), and that you agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.

The Website is made available for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to use the Website in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Website or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of the Website. We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access at any time, without notice, if you breach any provision of these Terms.

Trademarks

The “Decotize” name, logo, and all related brand marks are trademarks of KEUN Marketing B.V. Use of these marks without written permission is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

DMCA notice: If you believe that content on decotize.com infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please send a written notice of claimed infringement to info@decotize.com including: identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; identification of the material claimed to be infringing and its location on the Website; your contact information; a statement of good faith belief; and your electronic signature. We will respond to valid DMCA notices promptly.

Account creation

If you create a customer account on decotize.com, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at info@decotize.com if you become aware of any unauthorised access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are in breach of these Terms, have been inactive for an extended period, or are associated with suspected fraudulent activity.

Products & Pricing

We take care to ensure all product descriptions, images, and specifications on decotize.com are as accurate as possible. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, colours, photographs, dimensions, or other content on the Website are entirely error-free or complete.

Product colours, finishes, and material textures may appear differently on your screen depending on your device’s display calibration, monitor settings, and ambient lighting conditions. This is particularly relevant for lighting products, where the perceived colour temperature and brightness of a lamp will vary with the bulb used, the room, and the surrounding décor. Dimensions given on product pages are approximate and may vary slightly within normal manufacturing tolerances. Where a product is made from natural materials such as wood, rattan, stone, ceramic, or linen, variations in grain, tone, and texture between individual units are inherent to the material and are not defects. If colour or size accuracy is critical to your purchase decision, please contact us before ordering.

Pricing & currency

› Prices are displayed in USD and are shown at checkout before you complete your order

› Applicable US sales tax, where we are required to collect it, is calculated and displayed at checkout based on your delivery address

› We reserve the right to correct typographical or system pricing errors at any time prior to dispatch; we will notify you and offer a cancellation or correction

› Prices are subject to change without notice but will not change after your Order has been accepted and confirmed

› Promotional and sale prices are valid for the stated promotion period only

Availability & quantities

› All products are subject to availability; we do not guarantee that any product will remain in stock at all times

› We reserve the right to limit the quantity of any product purchased per customer, per household, or per order at our sole discretion

› If a product becomes unavailable after your Order is placed, we will notify you and issue a full refund promptly

› Stock levels displayed on the Website are updated in real time but may not reflect simultaneous purchases

Pricing errors

In the event that a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price due to a typographical error, technical fault, or system error, KEUN Marketing B.V. is not obligated to fulfil your Order at that incorrect price. We will notify you as soon as practicable and provide you with the option to purchase the product at the correct price or cancel your Order for a full refund. We will not process or ship any Order where a clear pricing error has been identified without your explicit confirmation of the corrected price.

Electrical & product safety

Lighting and any other electrical Products sold for delivery in the United States are supplied for use with standard US mains voltage (120V) and fitted with US-standard plugs and sockets unless the product page states otherwise. Please read all product safety information and installation instructions supplied with your item before use. Some lighting items may require installation by a qualified electrician; where this is the case it is indicated on the product page. Products intended for outdoor or garden use are rated as described on their product pages and should not be used beyond that rating.

Orders & Payment

Placing an Order on decotize.com constitutes an offer to purchase the selected Products on the terms and at the prices displayed at checkout. A binding contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email acknowledging acceptance of your Order.

Our order confirmation email constitutes our acceptance of your offer. You should retain this email as a record of your purchase. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of placing your Order, please check your spam or junk folder and then contact us at info@decotize.com with your details.

When we may cancel your order

✗ Payment failure, declined card, or unsuccessful authorisation at checkout

✗ Product is out of stock or discontinued after your Order is submitted

✗ A significant pricing error or system fault is identified on the ordered product

✗ Suspected fraudulent transaction or misuse of our platform

✗ Delivery is not available to the address provided at checkout

Payment is charged at the time of checkout when you complete your Order. All payment processing is handled securely through our payment processor and is subject to their terms and privacy practices. We do not store your full card details on our servers. If we cancel an Order after payment has been taken, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Foreign transaction fees

KEUN Marketing B.V. is established in Netherlands. Depending on your card issuer, a transaction on decotize.com may be processed as an international transaction and your bank may apply a foreign transaction fee. Any such fee is charged by your bank, not by us, and is outside our control. All prices shown on the Website are charged in USD.

CAN-SPAM & email communications

By placing an Order you may receive transactional emails related to your purchase (order confirmation, shipping updates, delivery notifications). These are not marketing communications and are required for your order. If you have opted in to marketing communications, you may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. We comply with applicable anti-spam laws including the US CAN-SPAM Act. We will never sell your email address to third parties. Shipping & Delivery

We offer free tracked shipping on all orders. Full shipping terms are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of your agreement with us. The key terms applicable to all orders are summarised below.

Delivery timeframe

Estimated delivery is 8–10 business days from dispatch for most destinations in the United States. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are subject to carrier capacity, customs clearance, and events beyond our control. We will provide a tracking number once your Order is dispatched.

Passing of risk

Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the delivery address specified in your Order. Title (legal ownership) passes to you upon receipt of full payment. We are not responsible for goods lost or damaged after delivery has been completed and confirmed by the carrier at your specified address.

Import duties & customs

Orders are shipped to US customers on a delivered-duty-paid basis. Any applicable import duties and customs charges are included in the price you pay at checkout, and you will not be asked to pay additional duties or fees on delivery. Where a carrier nevertheless attempts to collect a charge that should have been covered by us, contact us at info@decotize.com with the documentation and we will resolve it.

Carrier and customs delays

KEUN Marketing B.V. is not liable for delays caused by the shipping carrier, customs or border authorities, natural disasters, severe weather, strikes, or any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Where a significant and unexpected delay occurs, please contact us and we will assist you in tracking your shipment and escalating with the carrier where possible.

Incorrect delivery address

You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address at the time of checkout. KEUN Marketing B.V. is not liable for non-delivery or delays arising from an incorrect, incomplete, or inaccessible address provided by you. Address correction requests must be submitted before dispatch. Once an Order has been handed to the carrier, we cannot guarantee that address changes can be accommodated and any costs associated with address correction or re-delivery may be passed to you.

Returns & Intellectual Property

Your rights to return Products and the intellectual property protections applicable to all Website content are set out in this section. Our full Returns Policy is available separately on the Website and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

30-day return window

We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a return, Products must be in their original condition, unused, and in original packaging. Please refer to our Returns Policy for full eligibility criteria, instructions, and the process for initiating a return. Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of us receiving the returned item in acceptable condition.

How to initiate a return

To initiate a return, contact us at info@decotize.com with your order number and reason for return within 30 days of delivery. We will provide return instructions and, where applicable, a return shipping label. Do not send items back to our Netherlands office address without contacting us first, as returns are handled through a designated return address that we will confirm to you. Returns made outside the 30-day window or for items not in original condition may not be accepted. See our Returns Policy for full details.

Nothing in our Returns Policy or these Terms limits or excludes any mandatory statutory right you have under applicable US federal or state law.

All content, logos, and trademarks on decotize.com are owned by or licensed to KEUN Marketing B.V.

The entirety of the decotize.com Website — including all text, product descriptions, images, photographs, logos, brand marks, graphic elements, page layouts, and underlying code — is the exclusive intellectual property of KEUN Marketing B.V. or its licensors. All rights are reserved worldwide.

What you may do

Browse and use the Website for personal, non-commercial purposes. Share product page links. Reference Decotize in editorial contexts with appropriate attribution. Contact us for permission for any other use.

What you may not do

Reproduce, copy, or redistribute any Website content without written permission. Use the Decotize name, logo, or trademarks in any commercial context. Scrape or re-publish product descriptions or images. Reverse-engineer any part of the Website.

Written permission required: Users may not reproduce, distribute, publish, or create derivative works from any content on decotize.com without the express prior written permission of KEUN Marketing B.V. Unauthorised use of our intellectual property may result in legal action including injunctive relief, claims for damages, and recovery of legal costs. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

The Website and its contents are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

KEUN Marketing B.V. does not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components. We do not warrant that the Website, its servers, or any emails sent by us are free of viruses or other harmful elements. You use the Website at your own risk.

We are not liable for

✗ Any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Website or Products

✗ Loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, data, or goodwill, even if we were advised of the possibility of such loss

✗ Delays in delivery caused by the carrier, customs authorities, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure)

✗ Non-delivery or losses arising from an incorrect delivery address provided by you

✗ Damage or injury resulting from installation or use of a Product contrary to the supplied instructions or safety information

✗ The content, products, or practices of any third-party websites linked from decotize.com

These exclusions do not affect

✓ Your mandatory statutory rights under US federal and state consumer protection laws

✓ Any liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct

✓ Any liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

✓ Any product liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law

Maximum liability cap

Our total aggregate liability to you is capped at the value of the Order giving rise to the claim.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and subject to the carve-outs above, our total aggregate liability to you in connection with any single Order or claim shall not exceed the total purchase price paid by you for the Product or Products to which the claim relates. This cap does not apply to claims that cannot be limited under mandatory law in your jurisdiction.

Product warranties

We make no express product warranties beyond what is required by applicable law and beyond any manufacturer warranty supplied with the Product. Implied warranties are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law. This does not affect mandatory statutory guarantees under applicable US federal or state law.

FTC disclosure

We comply with US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines for material disclosures. Where we use affiliate links, sponsored content, or paid endorsements on our Website or social channels, these will be clearly disclosed as required by FTC regulations.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Netherlands, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) and without regard to conflict of laws principles. This choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer protection rights you hold under the law of your US state of residence.

Jurisdiction & governing law

Dutch law governs these Terms.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, your use of the Website, or any Order shall be submitted to the competent court of the Rechtbank Overijssel, location Almelo, Netherlands, except where mandatory consumer protection law entitles you as a consumer to bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence.

We resolve the vast majority of issues within 3–5 business days when given the opportunity to do so directly. We are committed to reaching a fair resolution and will engage with your concern in good faith.

Class action waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. This class action waiver is not applicable where prohibited by mandatory law in certain US states.

Changes to these Terms

We may update or revise these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in applicable law, our business operations, or our product and service offerings. Where we make material changes, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice by posting a clear notice on the decotize.com homepage or by emailing registered customers at the email address on file. The version of the Terms in force at the time you place an Order governs your contract with us. Your continued use of the Website after the effective date of any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms for future transactions. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should discontinue use of the Website.

Escalation options for US customers

Decotize sells to customers in the United States only. Customers wishing to escalate a dispute beyond our customer service team may refer the matter to the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or their state attorney general’s consumer protection office, either of which may have relevant jurisdiction over consumer complaints. You may also contact your card issuer or payment provider regarding a transaction dispute.
